DISNEY

Bambi:  A cel of the Great Prince of the Forest, or Bambi and Ronno fighting.  An original Tyrus Wong charcoal pastel piece.
Fantasia:  Any good cels from the "Rite of Spring" sequence.
Robin Hood:  A portrait of Robin Hood in his greens.  NOT when he is in the beggar or palace guard disguises.  I don't want anything covering the face.  Sword or bow/arrow in hand a big plus.
Pete's Dragon:  A childhood favorite, I'd like a nice, bright expressive portrait showing the wings and tail.
Beauty and the Beast:  Anything of the Beast when he's angry, especially when he's fighting the wolves.
Lion King:  Any production drawings or conceptual artwork of any characters except Timon or Pumbaa.  Fave characters are Mufasa and Rafiki.  I'll also buy television series images, for the right price.
Rescuers Down Under:  Any production drawings or conceptual artwork of either Jake or Marahute.
Lion King 2:  Simba's Pride:  Any character art considered except Timon or Pumbaa.  Fave characters are Kovu and Zira.

DISNEY OTHER

WANTED: Disney Consumer Products Style Guide for The Lion King.

This is a thick, three-ring bound hardcover book. Inside is everything the consumer products division needed to know about producing merchandising artwork for The Lion King. Here is a partial description:

The front cover is primarily red and orange, with yellow letters. The book is approximately two feet wide by one foot high, at least 2-3 inches thick. There may or may not be tabs on the sides to indicate the chapters.

Inside there are drawings of all the characters, with most views represented.

There are also photographs of acceptable african fabric swatches, and samples of textures and patterns. These corresponded to various color shifts in the film. For instance, the "I just can't wait to be king" chapter is primary hot colors, mostly reds, yellows, hot blues and greens. For the "Be Prepared" chapter there were stony greys, eerie greens and some purples. "Hakuna Matata" was primarily bright green with yellow, and foliage patterns.

I seem to remember some samples of how far to render the character art, using airbrush.

I was allowed to look through it for a few moments when I attended college. Here is some more information I found online about the style guide, from http://www.silverkid.com/legacy/index.html :

"Publisher: H.R. Publishing Creative Director: Julia Saba Writer: Murry S. Illustration/Graphic Design: Kevin Shelley Production: H.R. Books Objective: Create a book teaching and illustrating each character’s design.

Insights: Long before a Disney movie release, a complete Style Guide is assembled and distributed to every developer and manufacturer of promotional materials and merchandising products. Included are usable male and female children and adult color palettes, pattern libraries, Disney corporate and movie specific logos, and world-wide authorized character artists. In accordance with these guidelines, this book profiles each character by name, personality, speech, expressions, motion, and color palette. Each visual perspective (60-degree frontal rotation, top, bottom) is illustrated and constructed. A generous number of custom art from authorized Disney artists was commission for the book."
